When Michael Chandler raised his hand for the last time, he won one of his best KOS in recent years.

In May 2022, Chandler faced former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 in Phoenix. After a shaky round that shook Ferguson, Chandler returned in revenge to put out the lights with a nasty front kick to Ferguson in the first seconds of round two. It was a brutal scene in which Chandler won a night bonus $50,000 performance.

Chandler (23-9 MMA, 2-4 UFC) will return to his cage this Saturday with the UFC 314 (Pay-Per-View, ESPN, ESPN+) co-main event at Kaseya Center in Miami. He takes on former Cage Warriors champion Paddy Pinblett (22-3 MMA, 6-0 UFC) in a lightweight match.
