NBA legend Michael Cooper has made his opinion clear about Isaiah Thomas’ criticism of La Lakers player LeBron James.
The Detroit Pistons legend recently called out LeBron James for warming up before a shirtless NBA game.
His criticism has attracted many comments from analysts, including Stephen A. Smith, who gave their views on the issue. Skip Bayless skipped Isiah Thomas’ comment.
Even James himself responded subtly to Thomas’ comments, but never directly addressed the topic.
A few weeks after the incident, former LA Lakers star Michael Cooper also fell into his response, supporting the four-time NBA champion.
James came to practice without a shirt in a victory over the Houston Rockets at the Lakers blowout 140-109.
Cooper revealed that there was no problem with what James did and spoke in support of his appearance in “NBA History and CLNS Storyteller.”
“When I heard what Ishia was saying, he said what he said, I didn’t see it, so I don’t know what it would look like, I don’t know.
“My muscles at 40 look like that. I want everyone to see,” Cooper said.
The discussion also became the way NBA coaches were dressed. These days it’s much more casual than before.
But Cooper was not opposed to the idea that coaches casually dressed.
He states:
“I’m a casual fan. As long as they’re good when they’re by their side, all the teams wear the same thing, if five people wear this, that’s not going to be different… The dress code doesn’t bother me now.”
Thomas, who criticizes James, is one of the many topical points that has turned 40 this year.
There was also an incident in which James walked through Stephen A. Smith to deal with something that ESPN analysts said about his son.
Despite being a four-time NBA champion and accomplishing everything in the game, James continues to be a headline maker.
He is in the spotlight from the courts, but in his 22nd year he cannot slander many slander at a court performance of the athletes.
His Lakers team is tied 1-1 in their first round series with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
When Luka Doncic appears in the team, James has a second choice that can ultimately carry the load of attack.
