The Minnesota Timberwolves are looking for the 2025-26 season and have an actual X-factor on their roster.
After reaching the Western Conference Finals for the second year in a row, the Minnesota Timber Wolves must try and try to reach the next level.
Losing Nickeil Alexander-Walker was a free agency blow, but the Timberwolves were able to keep Naz Reid and Julius Randle.
There are many reasons why the Timberwolves are positive, especially after the exciting rookie Joan Bellinger was added to the draft.
Joan Bellinger was involved in the preseason as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Denver Nuggets 126-116.
Veteran star Mike Conley spoke to Wolves Radio during the game and had positive words about the young Frenchman.
Conley explained: “He has a bright future. I think everyone in the building is excited to see what he’ll be like and he’s in the right place.”
“I was impressed with the way he competed everything. I’m not afraid to be dunked, nor am I embarrassed. It’s very refreshing.”
Conley says Beringer and fellow rookie Rocco Zikarsky have bought the decisive approach of the Timberwolves before the season.
“Everything up to our rookie, everyone is incredibly motivated. You can see that everyone is fighting and playing physically.”
Joan Bellinger had a strong performance in the preseason, earning as many points as Nicola Djokic.
Beringer and Jokic both scored 14 points on their respective teams, with the Timberwolves rookie playing only four more minutes.
The rookie had four rebounds and a block, with Bones Highlands earning the biggest points.
Wolf GM Tim Connelly has already spoken about his high hopes for Bellinger, and he looks like a quick learner.
