This was the second time in two years at the Korn Ferry Tour event, with two players spending less than 60 rounds in the same week. Chile’s Cristobal del Solar set the Corn Ferry Tour record with 57 in the opening round of the Astaro Golf Championship in Colombia. The next day, South Africa’s Aldrich Potgieter shot a 59. Neither of them won the tournament.
Since 2023, there have been 18 sub-60 rounds on tours around the world. This includes 59 of the PGA Tour by Jake Knapp from Cognizant Classic.
Clayton shared the lead with Quade Cummins (67) at 15 under 195. Dumont des Chassart finished 17th in rounds 70 and 73 with 59.
