The overwhelming injury to Tyrese Haliburton threw the crowd into NBA Finals Game 7.
Indiana Pacers’ talisman Tyrese Halliburton faces a long spell on the sidelines after suffering from Achilles torn in the biggest game of his career.
Halliburton left Game 7 in the first quarter, and the injuries were too severe for the Pacers to overcome.
Indiana led the game at halftime, but OKC took over in the second half, scoring a 103-91 home win to clinch the series 4-3.
Tyrees Halliburton’s injury was the worst case scenario for players and teams, taking the Indiana Pacers’ biggest star.
Halliburton suffers from a torn Achilles and will keep him out for the entire 2025-26 season.
Speaking to reporters after the game, teammate Miles Turner was asked what Tyree Halliburton had said to his teammate at halftime.
Turner reduced the severity of the situation and provided a brutal response, replied, “I was seeing a doctor at halftime.”
He went on to express that he cannot even begin to understand what Halliburton himself is going through.
“You don’t want to see your player down, especially at big moments. You can’t imagine how he feels. He’s doing an amazing run to get to this point.
The Indiana Pacers struggle to win the NBA Championship and are not approaching without winning.
Turner said he’s irritated for Pacer fans, commenting:
“It’s a championship effort, and be careful of the details in this fanbase. These guys work hard and use their hard-earned money to come and watch our play.
