Anthony “Lionheart” Smith heads out to the UFC Kansas City shield and suffers from a brutal first-round TKO loss to bring his mixed martial arts career closer to the official level.
Anthony Smith came out of Get-Go off the ground and refused to even touch his gloves with his opponent. However, Smith’s aggression will not last long since Chan landed a smooth step-in elbow that opened the “Lion Heart.”
With blood flowing in his eyes, Smith quickly went to retreat and then joined the takedown. Chang spread out and began pouring it with his nasty elbows onto the mat. Smith did everything he could to improve his position, but blood piled up on the mat and at first glance he seemed to not leave.

After the fight, Smith appeared to have a word in the crowd that had fans and approached the fence as if he was about to climb it. Luckily, Chan and his team stopped Smith from doing so.
Speaking to Paul Felder within the Octagon, Smith got emotional as career retrospectives took place throughout the arena and celebrated his 12-year run with promotions.
