The Atlanta Braves acquired Eric Fedede, the right-handed St. Louis Cardinals, who was designated for mission last week. The move will enhance Atlanta’s spin depth as all five members on the Braves’ first day are on the injured list. Atlanta’s spinning depth earns cash when sending cash or players to name St. Louis later.
Additionally, the Kansas City Royals and right-handed starting pitcher Seslugo have agreed to a two-year extension. The 2024 All-Star is reportedly a major trade target for several teams looking to start pitching depths, but he is currently scheduled to stay in Kansas City in the near future.
Finally, Nolan Arenado, the third baseman of the St. Louis Cardinals, is reportedly attracting some heavy trade interest. The lecture got heated before July 31st after several tweets that he would move this offseason.
