The New York Yankees already traded on Saturday, which is beginning to be an exciting trade deadline with just under a week remaining. New York has won the veteran utility man Aimed Rosary, who has had an incredible year against left-handed pitching.
Unfortunately, news about the Bronx bomber did not stop as two MVP Aaron Judge was on the injured list. The Superstar had no UCL damage to his elbow, but he needs a break to heal completely.
The hope is that judges will only miss at least 10 days in IL.
Finally, both the Philadelphia Phillies and the Kansas City Royals acquired outfielders through trade. The Phillies acquired Brewer Hicklen from the Detroit Tigers for cash considerations, and the Royals landed veteran Randar Grichuk from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Royals are 4.5 games from the American League’s final wildcard spot, with the Phillies sitting towards the top of the National League and looking to continue improving their roster.
