Candidate
Candidate: Nasrat Haqparast def. Esteban Rebovics at UFC Fight Night 253
Nasrat Haqparast (18-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) and Esteban Ribovics (14-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) fitted a lightweight, thrilling slugfest in the center of the main card.
Hakpalast, a fight loser, won five times in a row. Four of those were decided against Revovix, who won the fighting night honors in their second consecutive match.
Candidate: Ozzy Diaz def. Djorden Santos in UFC 313
Ozzy Diaz (10-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) defeated Djorden Santos (10-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) in a unanimous decision in a light heavyweight showdown full of action.
Diaz and Santos landed the eighth combined strike in UFC middleweight history. With a total of 270, Diaz has narrow edges at 136-134. Even where they landed the strike, it was almost even.
Candidate: Shauna Bannon def. Pujathomas at UFC Fight Night 255
Shauna Bannon was in deep trouble before coming together to score his first UFC finish with Puja Tomar.
Shortly after being dropped by a clean left high kick, Bannon (7-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) was able to lift his armbar from his back and submit Pujatmar (9-5 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in the second round of strawweight match.
Candidate: Loopy Godinez def. Julia Polastr at UFC on ESPN 64
Loopy Godines (13-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) survived the wave of wishes, supported by the support of the Mexican crowd in a unanimous decision victory over Julia Polastori (13-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC).
After a step ahead of the majority of interesting contests, Godines was forced to defend as Polastrie took care to blow the stretch away. That wasn’t enough, but it certainly got the fans up.
winner
Winner: Justin Gesche Deff. Rafael Fiziev of UFC 313
Another fight between Justin Geshe vs. Rafael Fiziev, another thriller.
That’s what unfolded when Gaethje defeated Fiziev in a hurry-booked rematch and scored a fierce battle unanimous decision with a 29-28 score from all three judges. The lightweight match was the UFC 313 co-main event.
Gaethje (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) was the first to beat Fiziev (12-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) by a majority decision in the night battle at UFC 286 in March 2023.
However, it was when he landed the most important strike of the fight in the second round when he rebutted with his own uppercut, which dropped Fiziev on the canvas after falling under the jab and dodged the uppercut. It almost ended the battle, but Fiziev survived.
The third round began with the favor of Fiziev, but Gaethje promised a throwback version from his WSOF day heading towards UFC 313, but was relentless with the volume and power punch that began to reach his opponent as the round unfolded. It was a strong way of closing out the fight that Gaethje resonated with the judges.
