After months of speculation about his future, Mohamed Sarah has signed a new contract with Liverpool, the Premier League leader confirmed. He will now see him remain at Anfield for 10 years as he is currently tied to the club until the summer of 2027 when he turns 35.
Sarah’s contribution to everything Liverpool has done since their arrival is barely exaggerated. In all competitions, he has scored 243 goals for the club so far, contributing 111 assists in 394 games. He helped the club win the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup, the Premier League, the FA Cup and two Carabao Cup trophies.
Liverpool captain Virgill van Dyk is reportedly in the next line, just like a key part of the club’s huge success in recent years. The full agreement has already been reached, and the Dutch centre-back will also remain at Anfield for another two years.
