Recently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) held its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) under the guidance of Singapore’s new Chair Jay Shah.

After the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) held in Dhaka, Mohsin Nakvi made it clear that he would not be able to attend the ICC meeting as he was stuck on his busy schedule.
“Some countries couldn’t come to Dhaka. It happens every time. I couldn’t go to Singapore (at the recent ICC meeting). I was stuck, so it’s normal. That’s normal. The majority of people came. Many people can’t come because of their schedules.
“It’s more of the ACC and BCCI. We are very much looking forward to solving the pending issues. We also have the Asian Cup,” Mohsin Naqvi said in an official statement.
In particular, officials of the Indian Cricket Committee (BCCI) traveled to Dhaka for the ACC meeting for security reasons and did not attend online.

“They took care of us and we had an incredible two days. It’s very memorable and I would like to thank you for the way they organize everything. The last thing is that we all decided to work for cricket.
“It will be announced soon (with regard to the Asian Cup). We are in consultation with the BCCI. We hope that it will be resolved soon. We discussed it and decided to resolve some issues for me and Aminul Bhai and get it done as soon as possible.”
