The countdown to the start of Aston Villa’s pre-season schedule is very continuing.
The Villans will begin their preseason against neighbor Walsall at Bescot on July 16th, with Germany’s Hansarostock three days later, with Trio’s Trio of Fliendlies Statiside meeting Louisville’s Eintracht Frankfurt and then St. Louis City and Nashville pairings.
The Claret and Blue Army campaign begins in real life on August 16th, and welcomes Newcastle United to Villa Park over the opening weekend of the Premier League season. Supporters are also eagerly waiting for a draw in the Europa League at the end of the month.
But before the villas get active, do fans have a new signature to get excited?
Aston Villa is trying to strengthen their front
A wide range of reports by Athletic’s Jacob Tancewell reveals that Monchi and Co will need to sell key players by Monday, June 30th to avoid breach of Premier League profitability and sustainability rules.
This was the main reason why John Duran was sold to Al Nasr for £71 million reported in January, but the villa’s finances remain volatile, as recorded by Athletic’s Chris Weatherspoon.
Nevertheless, despite the need to cut costs, Unai Emery still wants to bolster its offensive options. Therefore, TeamTalk records Villa’s interest in Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze, and faces a competition for signing with Tottenham, Manchester United, Newcastle, Newcastle, Arsenal and Bayern Munsich.
They claim that Eze’s aides are “working hard and talking to numerous suitors,” and that the Spurs are currently leading the race to sign him.
Guardian David Hittner points out that Eze’s deal includes a £68 million release clause, suggesting that he will rarely remain in Selhurst beyond this summer, with Adam Keys describing England International as “a phenomenal” and data analyst Ben Matinson calling him a “superstar.”
So, can the Villa convince a 26-year-old to move to Midlands?
Why Eberechi Eze is an upgrade for Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, which has revitalized his career so much that he scored four goals and registered six assists in 17 appearances.
He also began his foot in the Champions League quarterfinals with Paris Saint-Germain, highlighting that he certainly entered Emery’s good book.
However, the £40 million price tag reported by Rashford has postponed many potential suitors as Barcelona claims it is open only to loan agreements.
Either way, it seems very unlikely that Rashford will wear a claret and a blue shirt at Villa Park next season.

As the table outlines, last season, Eze will be on top when it comes to almost all offensive metrics: goals, assists, creations, dribbling and touch.
Sam Tabtou, who breaks the line, believes that Eze “thrives as a talisman” at Crystal Palace. He is a mantle that can be featured in the villa, and full football analysis Daryl Gillard claims he is ready to take his game to the next level.
So, as outlined earlier, Aston Villa has faced a lot of competition over Eze’s signature this summer, but if they can sign him, it will certainly be an addition to a statement.
