Los Angeles superstar Shortstop Mookie Betts is set to return to the field on Tuesday for the first time since March 9th as the team finished training in the spring.

After quickly speaking to reporters ahead of Tuesday’s game and completing pre-match training, Betts had a simple six-word update.
“It feels good, everyone. Amazing. Ordinary.”
Betts is taking part in Tuesday’s Freeway Series finale and lineup with the Los Angeles Angels after missing the last two weeks while fighting the illness.
Betts lost nearly 20 pounds due to illness and was unable to control solid food.

“My body just eats itself,” Betts said earlier this week. “It’s hard not to fuel it, so every time – literally, every time – I fuel my body and throw it away.”
He added: “I don’t know what to do.”
Betts’ illness was born towards the end of Cactus League play. He missed the last two Cactus League games, all four games in Japan (two exhibit games against the Chicago Cubs and two regular season games), and the last two games of the highway series on Sunday and Monday.
Tuesday was Betts’ final play opportunity before Thursday’s home opener, and it appears he’s going to do just that as the team is ready to resume the regular season in two days.
