The Los Angeles know one or two things about taking off the Boston Red Sox and Megadale.
Last Sunday, Boston traded Slugger Rafael Devers for LA’s biggest rival and current runner-up in the San Francisco Giants, the National League West Division. The trade was announced about 20 minutes ago before the threw their first pitch against the Giants to close the 3-game series.

Desperate pitching swap just before the contest – San Francisco’s South Pole Kyle Harrison was planning to pitch against LA, but was included in Deverse’s deal and had to be replaced.
There was previous speculation given Devers’ misfortune against the Red Sox, but after spending the whole year with the designated batsman (and almost entirely at 3 bases last season), I asked to ask him to move to 1 base, but given the July 31 deadline, the timing of this contract was unexpected to say the least.
Betts spoke about the incredible nature of the contract and his willingness to try Boston’s move.
“I thought it was crazy. There’s nothing to really say, it’s just crazy,” Betts said. “They care. They want to win. The guys over there do a great job of bringing together their teams. Obviously, they want to win.”
Betts was traded for the at the age of 27, and was removed from the American League MVP, helping Boston win the 2018 World Series (against LA). Devers, a crucial member of Boston’s 2018 title team, is 28 years old and a three-time All-Star with a trick to crushing the ball from the park.
He has never fallen below the top ten in the MVP poll and cannot be compared to Betts’ praise, one year older than Betts’s to the clubhouse, when he trades from the American League, but the similarities are noteworthy.
