Los Angeles superstar Mookie Betts revealed he was hurt from Sunday’s lineup as he had to vomit again. It appears he is still fighting the illness that sidelined him for the Tokyo Series.

“So I’m just going to lighten a bit,” Bette said. “Maybe I’ll play a bit of an uphill at the beginning of the season, but I just want to play. I’m tired of sitting and just throwing, I’m tired of doing all this. I just really want to play.”
The superstar reportedly lost nearly 15 pounds and returned home early from the team’s trip to Japan due to illness.
The plan was for Bett to score four innings of play in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Angels. But it is clear that he could not do so.
Betts revealed he weighs only 150 pounds after arriving at Camelback Ranch at 175 pounds. The superstar was able to digest smoothies after he got sick.
He is recovering, but he still can’t control solid food. Betts has started a new medication to help stimulate the stomach.
There is no guarantee that he will be ready for the ‘ home opener against the Detroit Tigers.
