After hitting a walk-off home run on Friday night, Los Angeles superstar Mookie Betts is off the Saturday lineup.

The are giving Betts the rest they deserve. Veteran Shortstop Migel Rojas will replace the superstar in the lineup.
For the past three weeks, Betts has been battling a severe stomach illness. The 32-year-old lost nearly 20 pounds, but insisted on returning to the lineup.
“So I’m just going to lighten a bit,” Betts said. “Maybe I’ll play a bit of an uphill at the beginning of the season, but I just want to play. I’m tired of sitting and just throwing, I’m tired of doing all this. I just really want to play.”
Betts is losing weight, but he had no problems hitting two home runs in his comeback victory over Detroit on Friday night. After enduring the health trial, Betts endured and became the unlikely hero of the in the walk-off homer in 10 innings.
“It was very special. I know it sounds very selfish, but for me it’s more. “Playing underwear isn’t a big deal, it’s just the fight I went through. It’s the ups and downs, the night I’m getting sick and crying. My wife was holding me.
