Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana could possibly come out of the club this summer, with two potential destinations reportedly being named.
France International has struggled with injuries in his time at Stamford Bridge, but it is probably not too surprising that his future is unquestionable.
Fofana is a great player of the time, but he just can’t trust him enough in the fitness that Chelsea continues to build around him.
According to journalist Sebastien Vidal, the players themselves seem to be open to something different because of their “mutually interest” in Marseille.
According to a Vidal post, Fofana may also be interested in the Saudi Pro League, as it is likely to be expensive for many other clubs.
Chelsea can sell Wesley Fofana
It will be interesting to see how this saga will lurk as Chelsea will certainly change its defense in the summer.
Fofana’s departure makes sense in the context of recent reports linking Bruce with other potential signatures at the back.
Bournemouth centre-back Dean Huysen imagines that AS and others are strongly linked to Chelsea and that sales will be needed before the West London giants can afford him.
Another summer change at Chelsea?
This current CFC ownership invests a huge amount in the top young players, and Fofana certainly looked like one of them when she was in former club Leicester City.
But now we may start to see some of these players flop this summer get moved.
Fofana has been able to connect others like Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Maduke and Christopher Nkunku as players who do not seem to be sufficient for this project.
Some fans may wonder if manager Enzo Maresca did enough to stay at work.
