Draymond Green believes he has many qualities that separate him from other players protected in this year’s Trophy Race.
The 35-year-old issued a statement with a stunning 21-point performance against the Toronto Raptors, which helped the Golden State Warriors get a 117-114 victory.
This came after his defensive masterclass against the Milwaukee Bucks. There he held Giannis Antetocomo at zero points, prompting the Warriors to win 104-93.
Green, who won the DPOY award in 2017, certainly aims to win the award again, and he certainly has a case, especially if the Warriors finish the season well.
The Dpoy race is thought to be wide open as Victor Wenbagnama fell due to an injury.
Green, who has four championships in his name, said that although he has excellent defenders in the league, he has the qualities to separate him from others.
Green said of the “Draymond Green Show” and the show with Baron Davis.”
“After reading my IQ and theatre, I am proud to _____g for the attacks of your favorite team.
“As much as I enjoy locking one guy, I’m more proud of locking your whole offense and getting the coach to understand something else.”
The four-time All-Star is second only to Evan Mobley in the DPOY race, according to the recent odds released by BET MGM.
Greene boosted his lawsuit with his performance against Antetocomo. There he returned for years to contain his second score in the year, the Greek freak.
Green reveals that he tries to confuse the stars as he stands up.
“So for me, I’m always looking forward to the opportunity. By the way, you’re not always fair.
“When you play a star, they play a star for a reason. You don’t always get along, but the opportunity to take on that challenge is to welcome me,” Green said.
He said that facing Antetokounmpo is always difficult and is about making the Bucks star uncomfortable.
“So we came in consecutive times and got Giannis Antetocompo, a Greek freak.
“So what’s your way of thinking coming in that game, and my way of thinking coming in that game, I just wanted him to make it difficult, I just wanted to make him uncomfortable,” Green added.
