Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca spoke about Noni Madueke’s future amid rumors linking the English winger to an Arsenal target.
Madueke has been one of many offensive players on Arsenal’s radar this summer, along with other big names like Rodrigo Go of Real Madrid and Ebe Bekieze of Crystal Palace.
Rodrigo is linked to Arsenal as a Spanish outlet, but Eze has been mentioned as a target such as the Guardian.
Meanwhile, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has recently posted to X about Arsenal’s efforts to sign Madueke from London’s rival Chelsea, see below…
Enzo Maresca regarding Noni Maduke’s transfer status
Currently, Fabrizio Romano cites Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca as discussing the Madueque site.
I’ll draw your own conclusions by referring to the quote below, but perhaps if he doesn’t want to stay at Stamford Bridge any more, it looks like a subtle hint from an Italian tactician who was ready to leave when the 23-year-old was ready to leave…
Maresca said: I want a happy player with us. Things that are not happy, they can go freely. Noni is very good during the season. ”
What about the Arsenal Armory?
Maduke is a talented young player with plenty of potential, but his link to Arsenal is probably a bit surprising.
Rodrigo and Eze were able to fill in on the left, but Madueke’s best position is on the right, but he certainly doesn’t play much with Bukayo Saka before him and in turn.
It would be interesting if Madueke joined Arsenal and was ready to become a squad player, or if Mikel Arteta would probably end up using him in another role.
Of course, we haven’t done anything yet, so it would be interesting to see if this would be more specific, or if the AFC decided to instead promote things like Rodrygo or Eze.
