Jadon Sancho is strongly linked to returning to Manchester United in the summer despite Chelsea being obliged to buy him when his loan deals are gone at the end of the season.
This is because the report suggests that Chelsea has clauses in an agreement with Man United to break the obligation to buy, which we will see Sancho shock Old Trafford.
Sancho has only had two goals and five assists in 28 appearances since taking loan to Chelsea last summer. However, we cannot say for certain whether Bruce is happy or unhappy with the 24-year-old.
Fabrizio Romano provided an updated version of Sancho’s situation at his daily briefing. There we talked about the possibility that she returned to Man United in the summer.
“There’s been a lot of writing about Jadon Sancho’s situation lately, so what’s the reality?
“It is important to make it clear that Chelsea signed Manchester United’s Sancho over the summer, and we are obliged to buy him for around £200,000-£250,000 based on both the appearance of players at the Premier League table and the position of the club.
“But there’s also an option in this agreement that Chelsea will pay Manchester United to send him back to Old Trafford at the end of the season, so that’s a possibility that Chelsea has on the contract…
“But my understanding today (and still very early) is that Chelsea has not made any decisions or hasn’t been energized by any kind of communication to send Sancho back to Manchester United.
“So, for now, Chelsea haven’t gone ahead with this clause, but they have this possibility and what they will appreciate at the end of the season. Of course, it’s important to make it clear that not only Chelsea but Manchester United’s plans are selling Sancho.
