It doesn’t sound like Nate Diaz is thinking too much about former UFC champion Belal Muhammad’s skills.
That, or Diaz, is very confident in his own game. Diaz recently released a Travel Vlog detailing UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ visit to Thailand at a planned reality show in Hong Kong.
Diaz was shown to be watching the UFC 315 main event between Beral Muhammad and Jacques Della Madalena. This is the battle in which Della Madalena won a competitive decision to insist on Muhammad’s welterweight title.
During the contest, Diaz briefly addressed his battle with Muhammad.
“We’ll fight the Beral’s ass,” Diaz later said, “I think we’ve beaten Beral Muhammad’s shit.”
It was a distinctively bold boast from 40-year-old Diaz, who hasn’t fought in MMA since 2022 but when he filed Tony Ferguson at UFC 279, he won his final battle on the UFC contract.
For Muhammad, it was his first loss in six years. He was undefeated in 11 consecutive contests heading into a duel with Della Maddalena. This is a run that includes a dominant five-round victory over Leon Edwards to become the UFC champion.
“Remember,” captured the winds of Diaz’s comments and fought back on social media.
You need to be on the same cola as Connor

“He must be on the same cola as Connor,” Muhammad wrote.
Della Maddalena is currently a friend of Muhammad and plans to protect her belt against her training partner Islam Makachev. Their match is scheduled to take place in the second half of 2025.
The rise of the Australian star must have come as a surprise to Diaz, who couldn’t even oust Dela Maddalena from the lineup before the start of the UFC 315 main event.
“I don’t know any other guys,” Diaz said.
