Nate Diaz hilariously explains why he constantly throws a bottle of water at his enemies: "I'll keep hydrated."

Nate Diaz promises he’s not looking for trouble, but if someone starts statically with him, they might want to cover with the ducks, as a bottle of water might be zoomed into them.

There are several videos showing Diaz fire a bottle of water at someone. Most famously, in a brawl with Conor McGregor ahead of the 2016 rematch, Diaz is throwing a bottle of water with the Irish superstar, and even engulfing energy as McGregor screams at him.

Dias also threw a water bottle with a member of Islamic Makachev’s team and behind the scenes ahead of a UFC press conference in Las Vegas this December. However, Diaz says that he is rarely an invader, as those altercations usually begin with him talking to Smack and then he responds with a water bottle.

“I was watching an old press conference with Jake Paul (and he said) “He’s always choking someone or throwing bottles at them,” I’m a counter fighter, Motherf*cker,” Diaz said on the HJR podcast. “If you’re with me like ‘f*ck youbitch’ and I’m standing there with a bottle (I’ll throw it) silent, bitch. This is not going to hurt you. ”

According to Diaz, a water bottle is always his first line of defense. Because it’s rare that he doesn’t have nearby. With such easy access, Diaz found a water bottle as the easiest way to get someone’s attention.

“I can tell you something, are you watching how I have this bottle (of water)? I’ll keep hydrated,” Diaz said. “Where am I, I always have water. You should see next to my bed in my room, I have 15 water every night. Then someone starts popping out (I throw the bottle) Stay quiet, bitch.”

Diaz frequently insisted, the water bottles thrown are usually in response to those who scream humiliation from afar at him.

The one-time UFC title challenger says chucking them with a bottle of water is an easy way to know if they actually want to start some kind of trouble with him or if they’re all talking.

“Now I tag you, balls on your court,” Diaz said. “What are you going to do about it? And that (the water bottle) won’t hurt anyone.”

Of course, Diaz’s willingness to confuse it with anyone at any time has come back to bite him in his bank account.

He revealed in the same interview that an altercation with Logan Paul was later identified as Rodney Peterson – that he stole a lot of money on him after facing a lawsuit over the case. Diaz escaped all criminal charges, but Peterson still sued him after showing that the veteran UFC fighter suffocated him in a New Orleans case.

Rather than continuing his fight in court, Diaz says he ultimately settled the lawsuit and paid Peterson.

“He sued me,” Diaz said. “I was winning, but I was going to pay more in attorneys’ fees just to go forever. So, my lawyer’s bill was up to $17,000 so I ended up paying him $18,000.
