Nazim Sadykhov won one of the most memorable victories of his MMA career, winning Nikolas Motta with an absolute barn burner at UFC Baku in his hometown of Azerbaijan.
Motta was initially upset by his heart and took a big shot on Sadikhov’s body, who had his hometown favourite on his heels. Feeling a potential finish, Motta unleashed a barrage of strikes against the fence, but Sadihov maintains security, overcomes the storm, allowing Motta to punch himself out.
As Motta’s gas tank was low, Sadihov recovered and pulled a loud roar out of the live crowd. Sadihov managed to fight a way back to the round, but his attack was nothing compared to Motta’s mid-round onslaught.
The shootout continued in second, with Sadihov landing an early elbow with Motta open between his brows. Undenied, Motta continued to throw the leather and connected to his elbows.
With a short breath in as he challenged the fence, Sadihov landed a vicious right hook that dropped Motta before ripping it into his body, stepping into the judge and halting the contest within a minute to get to the second stanza.
