The Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets had an uncontroversial game of the season, so NBA fans were eating it.

The Minnesota Timberwolves took the Denver Nuggets 140-139 in a game of the season. Both sides had two overtimes and the game still went down to the wire.

There was a lot of speculation towards the game about the nature of the play. Michael Malone felt the Timberwolves would play harder against them than any other team.

And that’s exactly what happened. Even if two overtimes and Nikola Djokic dropped a 61-point triple double, the Timberwolves grabbed the game in an exciting way.

Two mistakes from Russell Westbrook in the final seconds proved to be a death blow. But there’s no denying that it was made for a very interesting basketball.

NBA fans were overjoyed to see the classics played in front of them. Kendrick Perkins made an immediate comment, saying, “Timberwolves own the nuggets. It’s six straight wins.”

Fellow NBA legend Greg Anthony cried out both teams, “Best game of the season! Amazing!! The NBA playoffs are on fire!”

One fan wanted to see two teams go to it again. “The best regular season game I’ve ever seen,” another fan said.

“Man, every Nuggets Wolves matchup is instant classic,” wrote the excited Timberwolves supporter. A Denver fan said, “It drives you crazy to watch this again. The game was perfect up to this moment. 99% great games, 1% bad ending. It’s still a great game.”

One neutral NBA fan made a bold declaration, claiming that “The Minnesota Timberwolves have spiritual ownership of the Denver Nuggets.” Another neutral party said, “Please, Basketball Gods, please provide a playoff series between these two teams.”

Obviously, this game had everything and both teams won by giving absolutely everything. But in the end, the Timberwolves left the winner.

The victory has now tied the Grizzlies with a 44-32 record, sitting sixth in the West. If the Timberwolves outweigh them, they have a guaranteed playoff spot.

The Grizzlies are confused and can lose more games as Taylor Jenkins is fired. But the Timberwolves have to take advantage of the momentum they gained.

This loss is disastrous for the Nuggets, who gave the Lakers the opportunity to outperform them and take the third species.

The Lakers are one game behind the Nuggets, and winning the Warriors on Thursday night will allow the Lakers to go third.
