Paul George became a Pacers superstar, and fans can’t believe that one of his former teammates has reached the NBA Finals before him.

The Indiana Pacers shocked the NBA world to the final. No one mentioned them as candidates, but Tyrese Halliburton and the company are proving that their suspects are wrong.

Beating the New York Knicks in six games was a collective effort. Pascal Siakam has been appointed ECF MVP, and the hero of Aaron Nesmith will soon be forgotten.

However, the longest decorated pacers were the happiest. Miles Turner hyped the Indiana crowd after their massive Game 6 victory.

Turner praised superstar teammate Halliburton after the victory. But it is the first superstar he has performed together on a pacer that is in the hearts of many fans.

Paul George has been one of the best players in the league in Indiana. However, he couldn’t lead them to the NBA Finals.

The nine-time All-Star ultimately left the franchise and has yet to reach its biggest stage. Turner is the only pacer to play in PG and the only pacer fans are talking about.

“Damn PG went to OKC, LAC and now Philadelphia. Miles still holds that down,” one fan wrote. “That’s what he gets from being loyal and chasing the ring,” another added.

“Say what you want, but a lot of dope with Miles Turner swinging with the Pacers,” the third fan said.

“Miles Turner is more of a Pacers legend than Paul George,” the fourth fan wrote. “Mann, it’s weird that Miles will be in the final when PG doesn’t get it,” the fifth fan said.

“Wow, it’s amazing to think he’s been down with the team for such a long time,” the fans posted. “We’re pleased that we didn’t end up trading Miles.”

The NBA Finals matchup has fueled many conversations on social media. The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers are both small markets, but that’s not the only one.

George could be the main reason behind Lightning and the Pacers. When he traded, both teams gave Shay Gilgus Alexander and Halliburton respectively.

Ironically, his previous team needs to square it for the championship and stab George that he couldn’t reach the dance himself.

Whatever the outcome, it seems inevitable that PGs will be trolled on social media.
