James Harden and the La Clippers were embarrassed in Game 7 as the Denver Nuggets wiped them out 19 points to advance to the second round of the playoffs.
The Denver Nuggets showed why they are being built for now. In Game 7, where they turned their backs against the wall, they came out of a swinging block to beat the LA Clippers.
And not only did they beat them, they, so decisively scored 19 points. It felt like the nugget had a tip on his shoulder. It didn’t help James Harden scored a terrible seven points.
Perhaps David Adelman motivated the Nuggets with a foul that Nicola Djokic felt he hadn’t gotten in Game 6.
Nikola Jokic is taking on a greater leadership role under Adelman. And he was the catalyst for the Nuggets’ star outing, so he showed it tonight.

Several fans enjoyed the Clippers. One fan took him to X and wrote, “When the Clippers went home early and everyone reminded me of why Kawi never left Toronto.”
As one Clippers fan wrote, not everyone is joking.
Naturally, much of the responsibility goes to James Harden, one fan wrote:
Another neutral fan said, “Every time I think Harden’s playoff resume won’t get worse, he drops another Game 7 Stinker.”
Heat fans tried to close the story by saying, “James Harden’s name should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Dwyane Wade. Enough is enough.”
Nuggets fans said, “Harden looks uncomfortable, but Russ has had his best series for years.

Unfortunately, if you’re not a Clippers fan, it’s hard to be surprised by this James Harden performance. This was the fourth game seven of his career.
And like the first three, Harden gave yet another terrible performance. The conversation about Harden’s ability to deliver when the lights are brighter is even bigger.
Bill Simmons recently claimed that Harden’s playoff disappointment will be remembered more than his great regular season exploits.
It’s hard to see how the Clippers, or other NBA teams, trust Harden after this. In fact, Harden could potentially join a new NBA team early next season.
