The New York Knicks shocked many fans when they announced the fire of Coach Tom Thibodeau just days after the team lost in the Eastern Conference Finals.
It was the first time the New York Knicks had a conference final in 25 years, and one of the main reasons was coaching Tom Thibodeau.
However, he was relieved of his responsibility and confused many NBA experts and Gary Payton.
The Knicks have been linked to many names since the shooting, but the frontrunner has not yet been released.
Jason Kidd, Ime Udoka and Chris Finch were all coaches on the NBA team, and were the names the Knicks had in their plans.
However, Shams Charania reported that the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves had rejected the Knicks’ requests to talk to Udoka and Finch respectively.
He also reported that the Knicks were not approaching the Dallas Mavericks to talk to Kid, but the request would also be denied.

The Knicks’ entry into the conference final put the entire city of New York in euphoria.
Jalen Brunson was great for the team throughout the postseason, but he didn’t have enough help for him and was a huge success against the Indiana Pacers.
Despite his great stint as a head coach, there were several reasons to fire Thibodeau, but doing it without a clear plan didn’t work with the fans.
One fan said:
Another added, “It’s interesting to know how unrealistic this is and know that this is the issue of firing the coach you got to the ECF, and that it’s most playoff wins than the seven previous coaches.”
Thibodeau was the Knicks coach and helped them make four playoffs for five years.
He led the team twice after his first round, including his run to the Eastern Conference Finals this season.
One said: “They’re going to call all 29 other teams at this rate.”
Boston Celtics fans got the chance to laugh at the Knicks’ unfortunate situation.
And another said: “The Knicks fired Tib with a plan that says, ‘We’re just stealing someone else’s coach.’
As all three main names seem unlikely to take over Knicks’ work, organizations must start looking for another direction later.
They have a great roster, but bringing in a good head coach is essential to get to their full potential.
Stephen A. Smith suggested Mark Jackson’s name, but it still doesn’t have enough momentum.
With Charania predicting a big offseason, the Knicks will need to deploy head coaches soon.
With over 10 days before the draft is expected to take place around that time, the Knicks are already losing on time and must act quickly if they want to take another Big Star to New York.
