The NBA preseason will not begin until October, but a few players are already preparing for a new campaign.
Two of them were veteran point guard Chris Paul and budding superstar Paolo Bancello, who recently played scrimmage in Las Vegas.
Paul signed a one-year, $3.6 million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers after departing from the San Antonio Spurs.
He is expected to become a backup PG for the Clippers next season, and will help them alongside Kawi Leonard and James Harden for their first championship.
Banchelo entered his fourth season with Orlando Magic, and is one time away from being perhaps the most valuable player discussion.
NBA fans had a lot to say about one observation after watching the video playing in Las Vegas.
Kiyan, son of Bunchelo, Paul, Phoenix Suns forward Ryandan and Carmelo Anthony, was some of the famous players on the court.
Fans were as impressed as usual with Paul’s playmaking and Dan’s seemingly improved jump shot, but the most notable aspect was Bancello’s domination.
The magical superstar scored on will despite physical defense, and even when he was double-teamed by the opposition.
“The P5 is too D. It’s big for it to move like that. Bro was not affected by the contact,” commented one viewer.
“D—Paolo is doubled in the pickup game too. The team can’t let him go one-on-one,” replied another.
Two more fans wrote after watching the video, “Paolo always doubles” and “Paolo is criminally underrated.”
“The fact that Paolo doubles in the open gym is that the boy runs good things,” said the person. “Paolo is a beast. He’ll be the face of the NBA and future MVP,” the fans said.
Banchelo never gave magical fans a reason to worry about his future, but they would still be eager to have him signed a long-term deal.
Well, he prevented potential speculation when he signed a five-year, $239 million contract earlier this month.
“It’s crazy that this little brown ball can take you. Man: take you all around the world, take care of your family and help you make your wildest dreams come true,” Bunchelo responded to the news.
“You can do things you can’t think of with this brown bowl.
