NBA fans responded to Mitchell Robinson’s disastrous free throw shooting night in Game 3 of the New York Knicks.
The center went 3-11 from the charity stripe in their first two games against the Boston Celtics.
Despite his poor shooting of free throws, Mitchell Robinson’s contribution to offensive glass helped the New York Knicks a lot, but it turned out to be more expensive in Game 3 loss.
To the Knicks’ disappointment, the big man’s shooting from the free throw line began 1-6 in the third game of the series, going 4-12.
Robinson’s mistake from the line also included the Airball effort, with fans moving on to X and expressing their vision.
The Celtics intentionally tried to foul Robinson due to insufficient shooting from the line.
One fan said, “Mitchell Robinson is the worst free throw shooter in basketball history. I include a 10-year-old man or woman who played in the CYO league.”
Another was added, but “Mitchell Robinson is not an NBA player.”
Robinson shot the ball 34% from the FT line in the playoffs heading into Game 3.
Despite the poor shooting from his line, Knicks fans saw him cheering for him, and the crowd also cried out as he finally made his first night.
Fans denounced the players for a poor filming night from FT.
Another said: “Hello Mitchell Robinson, I love the way you play. I love the effort you give. If you need some tips on how to shoot free throws, it’s just me.
The Celtics lead the majority of the series, but that didn’t help them win the game.
The New York victory in Game 2 meant that Paul Pierce had to complete the difficult challenge of walking to a studio 15 miles from his home.
The 91-90 victory was historic for the Knicks, with performances in the first two games as well, but teams, including star player Jalen Brunson, have not been shot well.
They strengthened their game with the clutch, and that’s what helped them win two wins on the road.
The Knicks were blown away by the Celtics in Game 3, losing on a scoreline of 115-93, with Boston taking their first victory in the series to 1-2.
