Tyler Colek gave an incredible performance in a New York Knicks game against City rival Brooklyn Nets.
The second-year player had an impressive rookie season and decided to play for the New York Knicks in the NBA Summer League.
After a decent show in the first two games of the tournament, Tyler Collectk delivered a 25-point performance against Brooklyn Net.
He scored 23 points at halftime before slowing down, adding only two more points in the second half.
Korek also stepped up with four assists and many steals to help the Knicks secure a 97-93 victory, with fans talking about what they’re feeling about the 24-year-old.
Korek has made several appearances in his rookie season with the New York Knicks.
Tom Thibodeau praised the Colek performance against the Dallas Mavericks last season.
With Mike Brown taking over the reins, Summer League is his chance to prove his ability to coach Colek twice a year.
He certainly impressed Brown with his performance against the net, with his electric score and defensive resilience.
Fans responded to Korek’s performance with their thoughts on X.
“The Knicks got the Dawg.”
Another has been added.
Not only did Korek get the ball well, he was playing. One user highlighted how players will assist if a team converts from a pass.
Another said: “Fans were telling me to trade him because they were playing two bad summer league games.”
While someone also stated, “lol and people doubted our young Nash.”
Colek averaged seven minutes for the Knicks last season and was unable to prove much in a limited amount.
The world still offers a glimpse of what he can do, but the second year is expected to be much better for him.
Under Brown, the former Sacramento Kings coach often uses his rotation, so if he can prove himself, Colek will do even more minutes.
He likes to play at speed. This is something that Collector can do. The 24-year-old is also a great playmaker and defensive figure.

After playing in college for four years, Kolek averaged 1.5 steals and carried it into his professional career with great displays in the defensive ends of the NBA and G-League.
There is a lot of competition in the Knicks backcourt, but the Colek can expect a few minutes if delivered during the season.
The team arrived at the Eastern Conference Finals last season. If they go beyond that stage, they will need a deep rotation that allows people like Colek to deliver consistently.
