Giannis Antetokounmpo enters a very important stage in his NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Reports at the start of the offseason suggest that Giannis Antetokounmpo is considering options other than the Milwaukee Bucks.
Just two months later, there has been no update on his future, and it appears he is likely to continue playing for the Bucks.
The franchise abandoned All-Star Guard Damian Lillard to make room for Miles Turner’s arrival. Many weren’t happy with the move because they didn’t actually push the Bucks into their championship competition.
One thing that’s clear is that Antetokounmpo will need to play more at the ball next season, as there is no solid point guard with Lillard gone.
The Greek people are being leaned to win the MVP Award. He is expected to post great numbers for the Bucks, but Tim Bontemps believes there are other conditions if that doesn’t happen.
Antetokounmpo was injured during the playoffs for several years, and this is one of the reasons behind the Bucks’ recent struggles.
He was solid in the regular season, but in 2017 he played over 75 games.
The team already has no choice, so the Bucks will need Antetokounmpo to make it available for all games as well as not only at his best.
Tim Bontemps said Antetokounmpo could average “astronomical numbers,” but believed that Greek freaks would need to lead their teams to their respective finishes at the Eastern Conference to win the MVP awards, over 75 games.

He said: “If Giannis is able to play games of 75 or more, and if he’s clearly not doing it for a long time, he’s going to have an opportunity to win the MVP because he’s trying to put up astronomical numbers.
“It assumes he can maintain the load of play time and player use because he was using season stretches and games that he missed.
Antetokounmpo has been solid for the Bucks ever since they drafted him. The player has averaged double doubles for eight years, and has won multiple individual awards during this period.
He also helped the Bucks win their first championship in 50 years, but things haven’t looked great for the franchise ever since.
Their core players continued to get injured by the time of the playoffs, which led to an early round exit, but all Anteto Compo through it was fantastic.
The Bucks are unlikely to have the best record in the East next season, but they will still be a difficult side to beat, as Antetocompo is on their side.
Two MVPs are players who are careful, but the Bucks also have the likes of Turner and Kyle Kuzma.
If both of these players work well for the team, the Bucks have a chance to make a deep playoff in the east.
