Liverpool’s winger Federico Chiesa continues to attract much attention towards the end of the summer transfer window. Catch off side I understand.
In its latest efforts to better understand the international situation in Italy, six clubs are mentioned by well-placed sources of the industry.
Chiesa scored a crucial late goal for Liverpool in a 4-2 opening day victory over Bournemouth, but there is still a chance they’ll leave Anfield before the transfer deadline.
Sources of information are AC Milan, Atalanta, Inter Milan, Naples, Rome and Fulham as clubs that take Chiesa into consideration.
We also understand that there has been internal debate about providing chains to Newcastle United as part of the talks over Alexander Isaac.
Federico Chiesa could be the key to Liverpool unlocking Alexander Isaac’s transfer deal
It is still unclear whether Newcastle will accept anything other than the huge ISAK fees, but it appears that LFC is ready to consider trying to offer players at least as part of the overall package.
Magpies have already been bolstered with attacks by signing Anthony Elanga this summer, but Chiesa could also be considered an attractive option.
Even if the 27-year-old struggled with playing time for Liverpool, he was previously very highly rated for former club Juventus.
He is well respected by his hometown Italy, so there is much interest in bringing him back to Serie A.
However, it is worth highlighting that Chiesa himself does not crave to leave Liverpool.
Arne Slot hasn’t found much space for him so far, but for him he will still be a player or backup for his squad.
The situation remains open and there are many options if the player decides to leave, so you can keep an eye on the end of the window.
