Newcastle United have been given a great boost as Anthony Gordon can play in the Champions League match against Barcelona tomorrow night.
England International was suspended for a recent match due to a red card picked up in a loss to Liverpool at St James Park.
But thankfully, Newcastle could lead Gordon to the field in the Champions League.
Because Gordon’s ban is only domestic matches, for Eddie Howe, it’s a big boost as he prepares for this big clash with his top opponent.
Could Newcastle be upset against Barcelona?
Newcastle enjoyed a famous Champions League victory at his Paris Saint-Germain home several years ago, but can he repeat it against Barca tomorrow evening?
This isn’t an easy game as the Catalan Giants are the reigning champions of LaLiga and one of their favorites to win the Champions League this season.
Newcastle also endured a difficult summer and lost star striker Alexander Isaac to Liverpool, but Nick Ultemed replaced him and began to cheer up.
It should be an interesting game and should give you a great atmosphere as usual at St. James Park.
