Reports say Newcastle United are currently showing strong interest in signing Premier League players Eddie Howe called “epic.”
Magpies that promote the Champions League
Newcastle is in a strong position to compete in the Champions League next season, ending the 70-year Trophystas by winning the EFL Cup earlier this season.
While Howe’s side is working very well, the manager took part in a race at James McAtee in Manchester City, including midfield this summer, which was available for just £26 million.
He also hopes Ademora’s Lookman has appeared on the list and Crystal Palace defender Mark Guech has been brought in to strengthen Hau’s centre-back options and has been eager to the British for quite some time.

Magpies can land his signature…
Another area Newcastle is trying to strengthen is between the sticks, with Nick Pope undoubtedly turning to options from within the Premier League in the Twilight years of his career, perhaps at 33.
It lined up to leave the saint after relegation to the championship, according to a report from Catch Offside, which states that Newcastle shows strong interest in signing Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Ramsdale could leave for just £25 million following the relegation of his team to the second tier, with the goalkeeper hoping to stay in the Premier League, and we believe West Ham United will lead the race with his signature.
The Pope’s injury setback means Magpies are aiming to bring in goalkeepers who can compete for the starting spot, and while Southampton’s shot stoppers fit the bill, the requirements for adhering to the rules of financial fair play could hamper their chances around their contracts.

Ramsdale could be a “magnificent” signature for Newcastle
The Saints endured a passionate campaign in the Premier League and garnered just 11 points throughout the season, but it’s hard to be too critical of their goalkeepers, given he ranks among the best performing players on the team.
Howe has also been seriously impressed with the British in the past, describing him as “magnificent” while working together at AFC Bournemouth.
Not only that, the 26-year-old looked at Arsenal. Mikel Arteta has singled him for praise after describing his goalkeeper as “fantastic” after an impressive performance at Anfield.
Pope was a great servant in Newcastle, but the British now has no contract in 2026 later in his career, so there are plenty of possibilities for Ramsdale to be a solid option.
