It was a lucky summer transfer window for Newcastle, but there’s plenty of time left to change his luck. Still, they were unable to sign the striker to compete with Alexander Isaac, but a new recruit could soon be at the door.
In recent weeks, Newcastle has missed Liam Dellup (to Chelsea), Joan Pedro (to Chelsea) and Hugo Ekichique (to Liverpool). There is a strong desire to sign an upgrade to the recently developed Callum Wilson, and there’s no doubt you’ll get it with Randal Kolo Muani.
Newcastle is perfect for a complete deal with Randall Koro Muani
Coro Muani has been linking with Man United and Aston Villa for the past few weeks, but Newcastle is the favourite to sign forward at this stage, according to Duncan Castle (via Geordy Boot Boys).
“Understandingly, the UK has been interested in Colo Muani for years, so he has been interested in it from the UK. He went to PSG, which is intriguing from clubs including Man United. What I’m hearing from the French side is that there’s been inquiries from Man United about his availability, but I don’t think they’re as ahead as the rest of the clubs.
“Newcastle is involved in this conversation and I think right now they seem to be Koro Muani’s most likely destination.”
Koro Muani recently completed a loan spell in Juventus. He is currently back in PSG, but the European champion has no plans to hold his services. So, Newcastle has the chance to seal off a financially vibrant deal, but they need to move quickly given that they missed the target of previous strikers because of their slow movement.
