Newcastle United are believed to have been contacted to sign a “efficient” offensive player, according to rumors of a new transfer.
Newcastle continues to keep an eye on signature attacks
Eddie Howe knows the importance of adding offensive firepower to his team this summer, after the move of winger Anthony Elanga, whether or not star striker Alexander Isaac remains at the club.
One option for Newcastle’s rumors is attacker Evan Speculation and reportedly he was sent to see him in action over the past year or so. He can shine in both central and broad offensive roles and is attractive.
Meanwhile, the Magpie is said to be preparing to make the move for Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez. The former Manchester City star will only arrive if ISAK leaves.
There is also reportedly strong interest in Newcastle’s Brentford Ace Joane Wissa, and even updated one that he agreed to personal terms with him regarding the switch to St. James Park.
Now, according to a new report from African feet (via Sports Witness), Newcastle contacted speculations and contacted about the summer trip to the club.
They have yet to begin formal consultations with the 24-year-old representative over the transfer, but the wheels appear to be moving. However, while Tottenham and Villarreal are also racing, Spurs’ speeches are slowing down, and the magpies could plummet.
As Speculation is so many players it’s not surprising to see Newcastle targeting him.
The 10-cap Ivory Coast International has scored 21 goals in 109 appearances.
The speculation can enter as the ideal cover for Isaac, which Newcastle simply must hold. It proves to be a great team option rather than always starting a game.
Adding depth is essential as Magpies compete in four different competitions in 2025/26 after returning to the Champions League, and great attackers could potentially develop into a great player for Hau.
