Newcastle United are watching the potential transfer moves of West Ham United’s right winger Mohammed Kudus after not landing two other targets.
The Magpie is said to be focused on Kudos after a previous failed bid to land Joan Pedro.
That could be a try again for him, according to a football insider who added that Newcastle is still keen to sign Anthony Elanga in Nottingham Forest.
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle will realistically land both Kudus and Elanga, but it is clear what kind of profile they will be after this summer.

Kudus looks ideal for what Newcastle needs right now. The club previously failed in its efforts to land Elanga.
Catch off side Also, although NUFC has previously revealed that they will try Elanga again, another similar style player linked to is Chelsea’s Noni Maduke, according to The Telegraph.
When Newcastle first moved to Elanga, as reported by Athletic, journalist David Ornstein suggested he was pondering the Northeast outfit to try again for him or move to other targets.
Now it seems Eddie Howe’s side is trying a bit of both, casting the nets so they can land someone with those qualities.
Who is the best option for Newcastle?
For a comparison of Kudus, Maduke and Elanga, see below.
Madueke stands out as perhaps the most balanced of the three, so it will be interesting to see if Chelsea are ready to leave their 23-year-old for reasonable money.
Kudus is likely to be expensive, and his form dip from last season is very well emphasized in the graphics above.
Ghana International could improve upon joining Newcastle, but overall the signature looks like a gamble.
