Newcastle wants to deal with many positions during the summer transfer, one of whom is a striker. Alexander Isaac is not expected to retire despite interest from Liverpool and Arsenal, but with the expected departure of Callum Wilson, a new backup will be needed.
Wilson expects his contract to expire at the end of the season, and Newcastle has no plans to offer an extension. So he is planning on leaving and his exit opens up space for Eddie Howe’s team that needs to be filled.
Liam Dellup is reportedly on Newcastle’s radar, but it may be difficult for him to take him to St James Park as Ipswich men are attracting interest from Chelsea and Man United. Therefore, other options can be considered. One of them is about to be offered to Carabao Cup winners.
Newcastle is among clubs receiving the opportunity for Armando Broja
As the Chronicle reported, Newcastle is one of the clubs that will be offered the opportunity to sign Armando Bruja this summer. The 23-year-old will leave Chelsea again, but this time it could be permanent.
Broja has been through years of desperately difficult years in his career, but things haven’t improved during the loan spell at Everton this season. The injury allowed him to only start four Premier League matches. This is a huge disappointment for him.
Chelsea is reported to rate Broja at £30 million. This is a price that Newcastle almost certainly doesn’t consider to be worth the money given the injury issue. So it’s not surprising to see them miss the opportunity to sign him.
