The LA Clippers worked overtime with the Golden State Warriors to seal the thriller at the end of the season thriller.
Draymond Green said before the game that the Golden State Warriors match up with the LA Clippers is something like Game 7.
He had a point. The stakes were expensive. The winners won a playoff spot, while the losing warriors fell into a play-in tournament.
The Clippers won the game with 124-119 overtime, with James Harden 39 points and Kawi Leonard 33 points. They’ll be hard to stop.
This was the LA Clippers’ biggest game of the season, and turned into an agonism, forcing French veteran Nicholas Batam to miss it.
He only started eight times, but Nicholas Batam played 78 games for the Clippers this season.
Batam was removed from the Clippers’ decision game with a gro caliber injury and had to watch his teammates make a memorable matchup.
Following the Clippers’ victory, Batam wrote to X:
“My brother’s great work”
The LA Clippers are a week away before the playoffs begin, and the play-in tournament ends. This is one of the benefits of winning a top six berth.
The Clippers’ 50-32 record lands them in fifth place, looking forward to facing the Denver Nuggets there.
The Nuggets have shown improvement since firing Michael Malone, and are always a threat to Nicola Jokic in the lineup, allowing both teams to start preparing.
The Warriors are currently ready for the 7/8 Play-In Contest vs. Memphis Grizzlies.
