Nicholas Fourlan was the lead run getter in the first phase of the IPL as he hit over 300 runs on over 200 strike rates. However, Lucknow’s Super Giants batsman was a bit rusty in the last few games as he bagged a series of low scores.
But the kind of players he is and the influence he has had in the first few games makes him key to his team. If Lucknow’s Super Giants have to fantasize about the possibility of playing in the playoffs, the poor will have to take his A-game with him in the bat.
I’m happy to play in India – Nicholas Folan
Speaking about returning to India, Foran said that other players may have different opinions on this, but he feels he has a job to finish. He said he’s happy to play for India and he’s not worried about it. Talked to Dainik Jagran, he said:
“I can’t speak for others, but I’m here because I have a job to finish it. I need to help my team win the rest of the game. That’s the most important thing for me. Other players may have different opinions.
“It’s their personal decision whether they’ll come back or not. I respect that, but I’m happy to play for India. I’m not worried about playing in India.”
He is an incredible captain and player – Nicholas Folan is Rishabpan
Lucknow’s Super Giants also spoke about his time with Lucknow’s Super Giants, saying that the owner and management are taking care of the players. He also welcomed Rishabh Pants as an incredible captain and player. He added:
“My journey with Lucknow was really good. It’s a special franchise. It’s a relatively new team, but the way LSG owners and management care for the players is truly admirable.
“I’ve played in other franchises too, but LSG stands out as a much better team. As far as Rishabh is concerned, he’s a great captain and player, on and off the field, he’s always ready to help. It’s great to be on the team.”
