The classic Nikki Hayden bike is auctioned and could be yours if you keep up with a lot of money.
His 2008 Ducati Desmosedici Gp8 features US flag colouring and costs between $225,000 and $325,000 if auctioned by Sotheby’s in Monterey this weekend.
Currently in show bike condition, but with the correct delivery of parts, you can return to the truck.
A glorious tribute to the “Kentucky Child” who passed away in 2017.
The bike comes from stock of GP7 and GP8 bikes and in 2010 we acquired parts directly from Ducati’s factory team.

Nikki Hayden’s auction Ducati
Factory rider Nikki Hayden rode this US-inspired bike at the end of the 2008 MotoGP season.
He then joined Casey Stoner in 2009 with Ducati’s stunning two-rider team.
Hayden has long been rumoured that he refused a chance to sign Ducati on behalf of Stoner as he wanted to stay at Honda in 2007. Stoner won the MotoGP title.
However, shortly after the 2008 season, Hayden’s long relationship with Honda ended. He jumped on a Ducati, which is currently being auctioned for postseason tests.
Following Hayden’s transfer from Honda to Ducati, GP8 has no sponsors on auction. A few years later, this will become an even more beautiful bike.
The bike frame was built in July 2008 and features a new, unused engine crankcase and race-based fuel tank.
