Nikola Vsevic has long been linked to the Golden State Warriors of NBA trade rumors and speculation, and he recently outlined what the Chicago Bulls had told him about these reports.
Even before the 2025 NBA trade deadline, Nikola Vsevic had been linked to the NBA trade speculation, the Golden State Warriors.
As an offensive centre, he brings high levels of talent and is in the final season of his contract, but his defensive limitations have long undermined his trade value. Still, he is expected to be addressed or acquired before the 2026 deadline, and he recently revealed where he is standing with those rumors.
After trading Demar Derozan and Zach Lavine, Chicago Bulls appears to be committed to rebuilding, and Vucevic is the last famous veteran on the roster. He doesn’t fit their competitive timeline and won’t be re-signed by the team this summer, but he’s a great starter on the condition that the correct lineup is built around him, and the Bulls have almost failed.
When trade rumours heat up, he insists that those reports have little truth.
“The Bulls GM (Mark Eversley) who contacted me after all the rumours about me confirmed that it wasn’t true and that everything I said after the season was still relevant,” he said. Basketusa. “I knew that, but it’s always nice when your GM contacts you to talk to you.”
According to some reports, the Warriors have a variety of interests in both Vsevic and his teammate Josh Giddy. However, the deal has not yet come to fruition, and there is increasing possibility that he will end the season as a bull.

Playing for Montenegro in international contests, the 76ers and magic of the early 2010s, and the Bulls really don’t allow Vucevic to play winning basketball. But he draws a clear picture. He wants to stay in Chicago and see it.
Between Giddey and Matas Buzelis in front of his second year, the bull is slowly building a young core. Vucevic believes it’s only a matter of time before you take the next step.
“Matas, he’s a great talent,” praised the veteran. I think he has a great career in the league. He is young, but he already shows that he belongs to the NBA. ”
The Bulls have still been competing for a meaningful postseason run (or more) but Vucevic believes the team could still be in town to win.
“We’re going to be a younger team so maybe this season,” he admitted. “But you never know. Team ambitions change rapidly from year to year, depending on injuries and transfers.”
With only the remaining seasons on his contract, the Bulls need to consider Vsevic as a very realistic work, and he must quell the rumors surrounding the acquisition so that he does not end his career elsewhere.
