AC Milan has stepped up efforts to sign Christopher Nekunk from Chelsea on the last day of his transfer period, and according to Fabrizio Romano, they have already reached an agreement with the French forward on personal terms. Consultations between the clubs are underway in the hopes of reaching an agreement on time.
Milan was very close to the option to buy it by lending Victor Boniface’s signature from Bayer Leverkusen. However, the move fell along with Rossoneri, who is worried that past injuries could affect Nigeria’s future career. They had tried to sign Darwin Nunes earlier, but were unable to reach an agreement with Liverpool, and the Uruguayan striker went to Saudi Arabia instead. Rasmus Hojlund is also mentioned, but the Manchester United man appears to be on his way to Naples.
Meanwhile, Nkunku appears to be unhappy with his role under Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca. In 2024/25 he only started nine Premier League matches and appeared on the bench for 18 more times.
Christopher Nkunku and AC Milan’s Christopher Nkunku and AC Milan’s five-year deal will be made as disclosed.
