According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal midfielder Thomas Party is likely to leave the club this summer.
The debate between the Ghana International and Arsenal hierarchies has not progressed in recent weeks, and this month has already opened the door to potential exits.
Part, which has a current deal with gunners until June 30, 2025, is in discussion with the club for an extension.
However, there is now growing belief on both sides that an update is unlikely to happen, agreement is invisible, and new negotiations are not scheduled.
Thomas Party heads to the Arsenal exit
Romano reported on his X account:
“There has been no progress in negotiations between Arsenal and Thomas Party over the New Deal.
“There is no agreement so far, and now we may say goodbye to the next day, specifically.
“Thomas will be available as a free agent.”
Partey was able to leave as a free agent. This is a situation that allows them to negotiate directly with clubs of interest in Europe and beyond.
Partey’s potential exit is a key turning point in rebuilding Mikel Arteta’s team.
By offloading Partey, Arsenal released a significant amount of wages and even made room for mid-range reinforcement.
Catch-offside sources revealed that Fenerbafe and AC Milan are interested in the Arsenal midfielder’s moves that could approach the end of time in the UK.
The gunners are already lined up with replacement items.
They may be open to Partey’s departure as the Gunners are set to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi this summer.
The Spanish deal will soon be confirmed by Arteta preparing early for Partey’s chances of departure.
Despite Real Madrid’s efforts to hijack their move to sign Zubimendi, the Premier League giants were able to win the race for his signature.
If Partey becomes a free agent, he will likely not remain without a club for a long time, due to his growing interest in service.
