Damien Lillard may be ready to return to the Milwaukee Bucks, but Danny Green believes there is a source of concern.
The Milwaukee Bucks are just hours away from starting their 2025 playoff run to face the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the series.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has to emulate LeBron James since the 2000s. Even Bill Simmons believes Giannis is a higher LeBron-like than any other East player.
Milwaukee doesn’t have some important stars to start the series tonight. The good news for the Milwaukee Bucks is that Damian Lillard will return later in the series.

Danny Green spoke to ESPN’s wake about Damian Lillard’s return to the Bucks on Friday. He pointed out that Lillard is a great player, but his return is not enough to help the Bucks.
Glee argued that the Bucks have some issues not only with Lillard’s absence, but also with other stars like Bobby Portis returning.
“It’s not enough. The dam is too late. He’ll rust… Bobby Portis is rusting, the chemistry will be off.”
“I haven’t seen Milwaukee pick it up at this point in the season and try to win a series like that.”

The fact that Lillard is returning very quickly shortly after being diagnosed with the deep venous thrombosis itself is a big deal.
However, these types of situations can provide not only a physical boost to the court team, but also a mental boost.
The Bucks could spur a first-round victory over the Pacers as one of their most important teammates could return after a devastating and potentially career-threatening injury.
Of course, this is all based on emotional responses from the rest of the Bucks, not on the current form. But sometimes, it can all be needed by the team.
