Hugo Ekitike continues to be one of the more interesting transfer stories of Summer Window.
The French have not had a shortage of elite suitors in the market, including Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
However, all three appear to have expressed considerable hesitation about the earthquake transfer fee.
An understandable position (expired in 2029) for the German outfit to take up with the player who still has four years left on his contract.
Will the Premier League bite bullets with Hugo Ekitike?
It remains to be seen whether the suitor will convened courage (and funds) to push the 23-year-old striker hard.
Liverpool’s interest in Ekitique is well established, but Merseysider is in the process of the first clearing room by selling Darwinneness.
In the meantime, it appears they are not ready to take an important step in the race.
“There is no full update on Hugo Ekitiké. Eintracht continues to claim 100 million euros, but it is doubtful if they will get it.” Christian Folk only notified of catch-offsides.
“Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United still have him on the radar, and Liverpool could move if they sold Darwin Nunes.
“United is the only club to date that has spoken to Eintracht about Ekitique. There have been no negotiations or offers depending on the current situation.”

Liverpool must first sell Darwin Nunes to Serie
Liverpool finds himself in an interesting position. If they sell Nunes this summer, the club will be very aware of the fact that Arne Slot’s side is in the market for new strikers.
Based on that, you would be surprised if this had no effect on the asking price the Reds are being met. Or, of course, it seems unwise to secure an alternative to No. 9 before his exit is confirmed.
Either way, the plan is moving. Liverpool is engaged in negotiations with Naples.
Speaking to multiple sources close to negotiations around Uruguayan and Serie a Side, I understand that the catch-offside started with Antonio Conte’s side from 40 million to 42 million euros (34 million to 35.7 million pounds).
But Red is looking for more. They are unsettled by an absolute minimum target above the 50 million euro (£42.6 million) mark.
Assuming they can move Darwin Nunes, negotiations may begin in earnest for Hugo Echicicke.
