Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma is tied to a move away from the club this summer.
Although the transfer period for Premier League clubs has been closed, they are still open in certain parts of the world, and Tottenham hopes to remove players.
The 29-year-old has fallen into a pecking order at the club and he has failed to make a good impression on Thomas Frank. The newly appointed Tottenham manager criticized players for his delay during training and meetings. Tottenham wants to sell players this summer, but it remains to be seen whether the club is willing to offer him an exit route. He is also linked to Turkish and Saudi Arabian clubs.
Spurs want to remove Yves Bissouma
“It’s likely that Bisma will move before the Saudi Arabia and Türkiye (transfer) windows close,” Pete O’Rourke told Football Insider.
“He was dropped from the UEFA Super Cup team because he was not good under Thomas Frank and was delayed in various meetings and training.
“He’s not making the best impression on Thomas Frank. He’s probably going to find it difficult to get into that Tottenham midfield.”
Bissouma has regressed
Performance-wise, he wasn’t at his best last season. This is the right time for Tottenham to move players ahead. They have already signed Joao Palhinha and Portugal International has started well for his new club. He will be Tottenham’s first-choice defensive midfielder this season.
Mari International will need to leave the club so he can get his career back on track with football. It will be interesting to see if he is willing to move to Saudi Arabia or Türkiye in the next few days. It could be an exciting opportunity for him, and he could win a similarly advantageous contract.
