The Los Angeles are revealing a starting rotation for the looming NLDS fight with the Philadelphia Phillies. Three (and soon to be four) MVP Shohei Ohtani will be on the mound to start Game 1 as he included five hit innings earlier this month in his recent outing against the Phillies.
Other future Hall of Fame news revealed the status of Clayton Kershaw’s roster to the NLDS. Southpaw was not on the Wild Card Series roster, but he pitched 94 pitches on Sunday.
Finally, 23-year-old right-hander Loki Sasaki received considerable praise from the president of baseball business Andrew Friedman. The rookie genius brought new life to the bullpen, which had a share of recent struggles, to say the least.
