The Los Angeles lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 8-2 on Wednesday night in Game 3 of the National League Division Series. The will have another chance to clinch a ticket to the National League Championship Series with Tyler Glasnow scheduled to pitch on Thursday.
In other news, manager Dave Roberts revealed after the game that reliever Tanner Scott was leaving the team for personal reasons. Having another southpaw relief pitcher certainly would have helped, especially after Clayton Kershaw was clearly struggling in a game that saw the escape in the eighth inning.
Kershaw pitched two innings, walking three batters while allowing six hits and four earned runs. He failed to record a strikeout and allowed two home runs in eight innings, which was brutal for the future Hall of Famer.
