Travis Head has been excluded from LSG vs SRH IPL 2025 Match
At a pre-match press conference, Sunrise Hyderabad head coach Daniel Betli provided an update on star batter Travis’s head.
He revealed that the left-handed batsman unfortunately tested positive for Covid-19, and he was unable to travel to India on time due to the resumption of the 2025 Indian Premier League. Betri also revealed that his head will arrive in India on Monday morning.
Head spent a season below bat in the 2025 Indian Premier League. In 11 games, he averaged 28.10 and scored just 281 runs and a strike rate of 156.11.
He is the third major rungeter of Sunrisers Hyderabad in an ongoing season, after Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen.
Jaydev Unadkat is on a private holiday – Pat Cummins
Speaking at the toss, SRH skipper Pat Cummins said Head is currently at the team hotel. He also revealed that star-paced Jaydev Unadkat will miss a clash with LSG during his personal vacation. He said:
“Travishead is in a hotel room so he’s overlooked. We have a tough Dube playing his first game. Jadev Unadocutt is on a personal holiday.
SRH added Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harsh Dubey and Kamindu Mendis to XI, and ruled out Sachin Baby, Abhinav Manohar, Jaydev Unadkat and others.
